Our Mission
To Provide the Finest in Family Fun & Entertainment
A show as large as ours makes flexible scheduling and part-time scheduling available. Tell us when you are available. We may have a schedule that fits your needs. Keep in mind that availability dates and times are very important and have a strong bearing on consideration for employment, after all, we have a show to produce!
Hours may fluctuate due to weather and park attendance. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a specific number of hours each week. Everyday "the show must go on" for our guests making it vital that you have reliable transportation.
What you need to know
Idlewild & SoakZone is a seasonal park open from late May to early September and weekends in October. Limited pre- and post-season part-time work is available. We need people for a variety of work schedules, including weekends.
All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, marital status, physical handicap or veteran status. Most jobs require applicants to be at least sixteen years of age. There are, however, some positions available for fifteen-year-olds. Fourteen-year-olds may apply to be considered for late season employment.
What we need to know
- Proof of Age All Team Members must produce one of the following documents to verify age: Valid Driver's License or Permit, Birth Certificate, or Passport. If you are under the age of 18 you must have a work permit.
- Social Security Number All Team Members must be able to provide social security numbers.
- Proof of Eligibility to Work in the U.S. Because of immigration laws, all Team Members must produce one of the following documents to prove they can legally work in this country: Social Security Card, U.S. Birth Certificate, U.S. Passport, Resident Alien Card, or Certificate of Naturalization.
- Proof of Identity One of the following photo identification documents will prove your identity: Valid Driver's License or Permit, School ID, Military ID, State Issued ID, U.S. Passport, Resident Alien Card, or Certificate of Naturalization.
Summer Job Application and Interview Schedule
Applications for the 2008 summer season are currently being accepted Monday - Friday 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. No appointment necessary.
2008 Idlewild & SoakZone Summer Job Applicants:
- You must apply in-person at the Park. An interview will be conducted at the time of application.
