• Flying Aces - New For 2007 - A timeless favorite! You can be the pilot and control your very own flight aboard one of ten suspended cars flying at speeds of up to 37 miles per hour.
• Balloon Race - eight gondolas shaped like hot-air balloons spin in a large circle while rising into the air. Riders have a sensation of soaring in a balloon.
• Caterpillar - One of Idlewild's classic rides, the Caterpillar is a set of linked cars that speed around a circular track. During the ride, a green canopy covers the riders leaving them in the dark. From the outside, the covered ride resembles a caterpillar. There are only three Caterpillar rides remaining in North America with only two, including Idlewild's 1947 model, known to still use the canopy
• Ferris Wheel - 16 cars carry riders up, around, and back down in a circular motion. From the top of the wheel, riders enjoy the beautiful scenery of the magnificent Laurel Highlands.
• Merry Go Round - The classic Merry-Go-Round is the centerpiece of the Olde Idlewild theme area. One of the last carousels built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company in the 1920s, it has been in its present home at Idlewild since 1931.
• Paratrooper - Ten umbrella-covered seats resembling parachutes spin around in a counter-clockwise direction. As it spins, the entire ride lifts to a 45 degree angle giving the riders the feeling of parachuting toward the ground only to rise back up again and repeat the cycle.
• Rollo Coaster - The Rollo Coaster was built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company and opened to Idlewild's guests in 1938. Its two trains carry riders up and down along a wooded hillside then turn around in a swooping curve and return to the station. The Rollo Coaster has been named a Classic Coaster by the American Coaster Enthusiasts.
• Scrambler - Riders sit in one of twelve cars that are divided among three sweeps (or arms) of the ride. The four cars at the end of each sweep spin in a circular fashion, while the entire ride also spins in an opposite circular motion. The ride is named "Scrambler" because when moving, it resembles a common household mixer, or scrambler.
• Skooters - First introduced in 1931, the cars have changed, but the building remains the same. For seven decades, riders have been thrilled by the chance to drive their bumper cars around the rectangular floor in any direction bumping into friends, family, and strangers.
• Spider - made up of six arms holding two cars each, the entire ride moves in a clockwise fashion. As it spins, the arms begin moving up and down while each car is allowed to spin independently. Riders hold on tightly as they are tossed, dipped, and spun in every direction.
• Super Round-Up - A large circular ride where riders face toward the center. As the ride begins to spin, centrifugal force causes the riders to "stick" to the ride as it lifts up to a 45 degree angle.
• Tilt-A-Whirl - Riders sit in one of seven cars that are fixed to a pivot pin on independent platforms allowing each car to spin. The revolving platforms on which the cars sit roll over hills and valleys causing centrifugal and gravitational forces to tip and spin the cars randomly.
• Whip - The classic "Whip" came to idlewild in 1939. It features 12 cars that "crack the whip" at either turn-around.
• Wild Mouse - Hidden among the mighty trees, Idlewild's Wild Mouse is a modern version of the classic roller coaster. Featuring mouse-shaped cars carrying four riders each, the cars are hoisted to the top of the lift then must follow the steel track filled with sudden twists, dips and hills.

• Adult Handcars - A large version of the popular handcars that all children love - and the parents get to ride, too! The rider sits on the car and uses the handcrank to power themselves along the railed track.
• Cattail Derby - A miniature version of the popular bumper car - just for little kids. Children have the chance to power their own cars around a rectangular floor in any direction they want.
• Dino Soars - Each child gets to ride on their very own dinosaur. The entire ride slowly spins in a clockwise manner and children can make their dinosaur go up and down.
• Doodlebug - The Doodlebug is a small green trolley for children that runs on two rails in a circular fashion.
• Flivvers - Children can ride and "play-steer" these old-fashioned cars along a miniature version of the Lincoln Highway.
• Little Rascals - Children sit down on the handcar and move themselves along the rails by turning the handcrank in front of them. Every little kid's favorite!
• Motorcycles - Children can "rev" up the good times on their own motorcycle that's just their size.
• Pollywog Regatta - Every child can be the captain of his or her own boat as they steer one of six boats around Raccoon Lagoon.
• Rainbow Wheel - A smaller version of the popular Ferris Wheel. Children ride in one of four enclosed cars as they go up and around.
• Red Baron - Eight classic airplanes go up and down as they are controlled by the young "ace" pilots.
• Ricky's Racers - A beautiful miniature car ride through the trees.
• Scampers - Miniature antique cars moving together in a circular manner.
• Turtles - Children and their parents can ride together in one of three linked turtles. The turtles "crawl" along a circular track with plenty of hills and dips. What a sensation!

• Confusion Hill - A fifteen minute walking tour through a very peculiar place. Guests are treated to many tricks and illusions along with a very entertaining story.
• Dizzy Lizzy's - You won't believe this one! Watch as you rotate head over heels - or at least think you do. Lizzy really is dizzy!!
• Howler - Twist around like a tornado on one of eight, four-seated cars. Make it spin as fast, or as slowly, as you want by using the common wheel in the center of the car.
• Loyalhanna Limited Railroad - The LLRR takes passengers on a peaceful ride from the Hootin' Holler' Station to Raccoon Lagoon and back. The tracks follow the beautiful Loyalhanna Creek before winding through the cool and shady woods.
• Paul Bunyan's Loggin' Toboggan - Floating on swift moving water, the log boats meander amid the mighty trees and rustic surroundings then travel the 125-foot ascent to the top of a 30-foot tower. From there, they come barreling down a chute, splashing all the way!

• Alligator Swamp - Pull your raft across the "swamp" using a rope and pulley.
• Blow Balls - Tons of fun as the balls float on air!
• Bubbling Springs - Jump into the Jungle's huge Ball Pit!
• Flying Turtles - Race around the course on these unique scooters
• Jungle Phone - Make a "short-distance" call without the use of a telephone wire!
• Jungle Organ - play your very own tune on this gigantic musical instrument!
• Net Climb - Can you climb all the way to the top?
• Swinging Bridge - Steady, steady...as you cross this moving bridge!
• Tarzan Swing - Just like Tarzan on the vine...let us hear your jungle call!
