ADVENTURE DAYS

Only $12.00 per person (Groups of 15+)
A great field trip idea for Pre-School through Second Grade visitors. Explore Story Book Forest, Jumpin' Jungle, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood of Make-Believe and Raccoon Lagoon Kiddieland. Unique, interactive entertainment and activity pages will assist in generating enthusiasm for learning and stimulate imagination by creating a multidimensional learning experience. Plus it's lots of FUN!
- Adventure Days are available to groups of 15 or more with advance reservation.
- Adventure areas include: Story Book Forest, Jumpin' Jungle, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood of Make-Believe, and Raccoon Lagoon Kiddieland only.
- Rides and attractions in Olde Idlewild, SoakZone, and Hootin' Holler are not open for Adventure Days.
- Park closed to the General Public. Season Passes not valid for Adventure Days.
- A complete visit takes approximately 4 hours; however, you have unlimited access to the discovery areas from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Pavilion space is available those bringing picnic lunches. Please inquire about availability.
- For supervisory purposes, you will receive (1) complimentary admission for every (7) paid admissions. Bus Driver admitted free of charge.

- Outdoor Classroom is available to school groups of 25 or more
- Park open from 10:00 AM - 6:00 pm. While all theme areas will be operating, there may be select rides, attractions, concessions that will not open

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS
Civil War Living History
Experience a day as a Civil War Soldier at our authentic encampment of Union and Confederate re-enactors. Visit an artillery demonstation, drill with the soldiers, and participate in Question and Answer sessions where your students will get to know what the Civil War was really like. Perfect for all grades.

Write Here, Write Now
Students apply language arts skills in a setting that is certain to motivate young readers and writers. Follow-up "Back in the Classroom" activities develop dictionary and thesaurus skills and strengthen proofreading and peer-editing practices. (Grades 6, 7, 8)

Math in Motion
Math comes alive as students experience a wide variety of real-life applications in the park and gain understanding of the importance of mathematics in the planning and operation of amusement parks. (Grades 6, 7, 8)

Wild about Words
Your students will be anything but IDLE - in fact they'll be WILD about the language arts activities in these lessons. Students will begin pre-writing activities in the park itself and will be led through the writing process in an easy-to-understand manner. Follow-up editing and revision exercises can be completed at home or back in the classroom. (Grades 3, 4, 5)

Rides and 'Rithmetic'
A variety of math applications including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and measurement skills can become exciting when students solve problems at Idlewild! Teachers can choose exercises which match students' background and ability levels. (Grades 3, 4, 5)
It's Alive!
Featuring a nature walk focusing on trees indigenous to our area, students will view Idlewild in a new light, as a beautiful and thriving living laboratory for scientific study.
