OPENING DAY - May 17

We can't wait until May to kick off our 148th season of summer fun! We're gearing up to make 2025 one of the best yet, with plenty of fun activities and events to join your favorite rides and attractions. Park rides and attractions are tentatively scheduled to open on Saturday, May 17, with SoakZone attractions opening the following weekend for Memorial Day weekend.

SOAKZONE OPENS - May 24

We kick off SoakZone splashes on Memorial Day weekend, starting Saturday, May 24. Get ready to enjoy trips around the Lazy River, riding the waves in the wavepool, splashing around Little Squirts, standing under the 300 gallon tipping bucket, and more!

PASSHOLDER PERK WEEKENDS

May 17 - 18, June 21 - 22, July 19 - 20, August 16-17

On the third weekend of every month this summer, Season Passholders can experience extra BONUS PERKS, early access to SoakZone (select dates), and more! We'll be updating our Passholder Perks page with more details of your extra special 'Wild Perks each month so stay tuned!

SHOWCASE OF STARS

Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays in June

Watch as the area's brightest and most talented take to the Hillside Theater stage to perform for you! Dance troupes, bands and performance groups from the local area will entertain on select weekend dates throughout June. Schedule will vary depending on number of performance groups enrolling. WORLD'S LARGEST RUBBER DUCK

June 27, 28, 29

Idlewild celebrates summer in a BIG way! The world's Largest Rubber Duck visits Idlewild and SoakZone June 27, 28 and 29, amrking the first return to the Pittsburgh region since 2013. Standing six stories tall, this colossal duck will give families plenty to flalp about. Snap selfies and enjoy other duck-themed activities all weekend.

FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS

Friday, July 4

Celebrate Independence day at Idlewild and SoakZone. It's the perfect day for the family enjoy together, riding rides and water attractions, visiting with your favorite characters from Story Book Forest, and meeting Daniel Tiger. Plus, stay and enjoy our annual Fourth of July fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. (Weather permitting).

ANTIQUE & CLASSIC CAR SHOW

Sunday, July 6

Travel back in time and enjoy a collection of Antique and Classic Cars on display for your enjoyment. Our 73rd Annual Car show moves back to Summer season (from the Fall) and we're eager to see classic cars in the hot sun! More information coming soon.

NEIGHBOR DAYS

Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays - July 11 - August 3

In partnership with Fred Rogers Productions, Idlewild is pleased to present a celebration of everyone's favorite neighbor, Fred Rogers. With special character meets from shows inspired by Fred Rogers, fun activities, dance parties and more, it's a fun, one-of-a-kind event that your family will be sure to remember. Join us to celebrate KIDS FEST with special character meets, fun activities, and the return of the always popular, 'Wild Foam Parties. We're working on ideas to make Kids Fest the BIGGEST one yet, and not just for kids, but kids-at-heart!
