The Pennsylvanark Historical and Museum Commission To Hold Dedication Ceremony at Idlewild Park

WHEN - Saturday, October 6 ‐ 11:00 a.m.
WHERE - Idlewild & SoakZone Amusement Park – Route 30 East – 2.5 Miles west of Ligonier, PA Enter through Park’s Main Entrance with this Media Alert invitation and follow signs to Parking Area D near the Exit Gate.
DETAILS - You’re invited to attend the dedication of an official State Historical Marker Commemorating ‐ Idlewild & SoakZone. The PHMC (www.phmc.state.pa.us) is excited to recognize Idlewild’s long history, its association with the famous Mellon family, and its ability to adapt to changing times and being recognized for the third consecutive year as the Best Children’s Park in the World. The PHMC applauds the award‐winning Park’s efforts to preserve several vintage rides while introducing modern ones. In celebration of:
