Merry-Go-Round

The Merry-Go-Round is the centerpiece of the Olde Idlewild theme area and a treasured piece of the park’s history. Built in the 1920s by the renowned Philadelphia Toboggan Company, it is one of the last carousels produced by the legendary company.

The carousel has called Idlewild home since 1931 and proudly holds the distinction of being the park’s oldest operating attraction. With hand-carved details, classic music, and timeless charm, the Merry-Go-Round invites guests of all ages to step back in time and enjoy a ride that has delighted generations of families.
